The Crossing is a place where a multi-ethnic, multi-generational community of people can join together to enjoy supportive, challenging relationships with each other and with God. A place where we are all growing, seeking and being challenged by Jesus Christ and being empowered through an infilling of the Holy Spirit. When you come to The Crossing you will be met by friendly people who will welcome you in and help you feel comfortable and included. We enjoy a time of fellowship before each service where we usually have coffee and people can begin to feel acquainted with each other. As the service begins you may hear a joke, story, or a testimony; we enjoy laughter. Our worship is sincere and open; you may see people raising their hands, others down on their knees, or perhaps just standing and taking it all in. You may find us taking time to wait before the Lord, and then for our members to share something that God has placed on their hearts.
Our message may take the form of teaching, preaching or object lessons, but whatever form it takes you will notice people offering insights or asking questions. It is a time where people are actively involved in receiving God's presence. The service usually closes with a chance for any of us who have specific prayer needs to have someone take time to meet that need.
